Old skool workshops are the future!

After being overcharged for a slap dash job at a local bike shop i decided that quality of work is more important than locality. Rhythm and Bikes were recommended to me so i took my bike to them get the job re done. They did the job properly and charged me half the price of the other shop. With the recent rise in popularity of cycling lots of bike shops particularly the larger and chain stores are increasing labour charges and rushing jobs. They also have a high turnover of fairly inexperienced mechanics so the quality of workmanship is becoming increasingly hit and miss. This little workshop of experienced mechanics who are all cyclists themselves is old skool but a breath of fresh air. They're location is a little less convenient for me but they are now my go to local workshop.

Great quality & priced service

Jez serviced my 10 year old bike and replaced some parts for a very reasonable price, had it back in less than 24 hours. Bike feels like new. Great place and thanks Jez. Definitely recommended

Passionate about bikes

I came with my bike for a minor adjustment to the handlebar. It was done on the spot. The guy that did it really listened and adjusted it to fit my arthritic hands. Very good professional service. The guy that served me was very passionate and knowledgable about bikes.

Amazingly thorough and great value service

I’ve never had such meticulous care during a service of any of my bikes. Came out looking as good as new, with loads of helpful advice. Don’t hesitate to use these guys if you care about your bike. Well, even if you don’t, they certainly will!

Absolutely delighted

A couple of friends recommend this bike shop to me and I must say that I'm absolutely delighted with the work they've done on my bike. I had the bike invisiframed and it looks beautiful. They've done such a professional job and wouldn't let me have it back until they were completely satisfied. The lads in the shop have a lot of knowledge about bikes and are really nice chaps.
This is the place peeps. There is no where else I'd go.

A great experience

I went to Rhythm & Bikes in the hopes of getting an old bike restored. The man who helped me was so informative and kind, he gently advised that the bike was too far gone and not safe to ride (it was at least 40 years old...), and the money it would take get the the bike working really wasn't worth it, unless there was some sentimental value. Although I left without a working bicycle, I left with plenty of knowledge and advice and I really appreciate the honestly and respect that was given to me. Truly a great experience, would recommend their friendly service to all.

Super helpful

Popped in looking for a unusual cassette, the mechanic working that day was really helpful and even took his time to teach me how to fit it, and fielded more questions about chains. Would definitely pop in again.

Hands down the best bike shop I've ever used

Such a passionate bunch of people who truly know and care about bikes. They did me a frame swap and upgraded some components. Great value, friendly and on time. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.
